"My journey at CCGS so far has been an enriching experience and I am proud to be continuing it in the sixth form. The school creates a safe learning environment and supportive community with lots of opportunities for personal development. The greater sense of independence and responsibility in the sixth form has vastly contributed to my growth, and the support from my teachers, especially my geography teachers, has really encouraged me to fulfil my potential and strive for more."
Max
Year 12
"The teachers make the A-Level lessons interesting and interactive which really helps you engage in the lesson and remember the content. Also, the independence that the sixth form offers is amazing and makes you feel valued within the school as you're trusted to act and be like the young adults we are."
Cody
Year 12
"Throughout my school life at CCGS, I have always felt the strong supportive atmosphere within the community. Opportunities for volunteering to help out in school events, such as open evenings and GCSE tutoring sessions, have allowed me to give back to the community whilst actively supporting my peers. Since joining the Sixth Form, I continue to receive unyielding encouragement and graciousness from fellow pupils and faculty, alongside reputable guidance whenever I feel uncertain"
Tom
Year 12
"I feel that life in the the sixth form has been more or less what I’ve expected. Doing 4 a-levels, I initially thought that I would be overloaded with work and that hasn’t really been the case, whilst I don’t doubt that it will pick up. The main thing I’ve enjoyed has been the freedom that we’ve been given as students and it feels as if it is a workplace, rather than a place of education and it feels like much more of a community than I had previously anticipated"
Maddy
Year 12
"During an open evening for our school, a parent asked me, "If you had to choose again, would you choose here?", and without a shadow of a doubt I knew my answer was yes. This school has allowed me to grow, change, make mistakes and learn from them. But most importantly, I have been given all the resources and opportunities necessary to become a person who expresses, accepts and believes in herself. "
Meredith
Year 12
"Attending Chatham and Clarendon sixth form has helped me grow in many areas. I have grown in confidence and have developed a true passion for my subjects, the team of staff help me to stay focus and determined on my end goal and the sixth form community makes everyone feel comfortable and find their people."
Caitlin
Year 12
"I have been very well supported in both my academic and personal wellbeing during my time at CCGS. The staff are always willing to listen, and I've never felt embarrassed or too awkward to ask for help of any kind, as I know how open everyone is and that they will do as much as they can to make my time here enjoyable.
