Art Students work to be considered for Summer Show
Three art students have submitted work to be considered for the Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show. Nettle Battersby with their charcoal drawing ‘self-portrait’, Elizabeth Bond with her oil painting ‘Blue Velvet’ and Lillian Dennis with their puppet models ‘ Stanley & Constance’.
Now in its eighth year, the Young Artists' Summer Show is an open submission exhibition for students studying in the UK. Artworks are judged by a panel of artists and arts professionals, with selected artworks displayed online and on-site at the Royal Academy of Arts gallery in London from 14 July -30 August.
This is an amazing opportunity for our students to get their work seen and we wish them the best of luck. The judges will be making their selection soon and we'll share the results with participants by the end of May.
