World Championship Success for Raeya

Raeya Wolf Hemmings, a Year 8 student at Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School, recently represented England at the WKU (World Kickboxing Union) 2026 World Championships, held in Berlin, Germany, in August.

At just 12 years old, Raeya competed in three fighting disciplines — Continuous Kickboxing, Points Fighting and Karate Kumite — and achieved an outstanding result, winning one gold and two bronze medals across her divisions! 

Raeya trains locally at Master Wolf’s Academies of Taekwondo & Kickboxing – Thanet Taekwondo (@ThanetTKD) based at Hartsdown Leisure Complex in Margate.

Raeya will compete again at another tournament in October and is also working towards taking her Black Belt grading next year.
