Chatham & Clarendon Students Celebrate Bumper GCSE Results

Students at Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School are celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results today with an overall pass rate of 94% of which 23% were at grades 9-8 and 42% at grades 7-9.

Headteacher, Debra Liddicoat said, ‘As I approach my retirement, I am thrilled to see such excellent outcomes from these GCSE results and want to congratulate each and every one of our students on their results, which are the culmination of 2 years of hard work and a determination to succeed.

It is also important to recognise the contribution of staff in supporting and encouraging students to achieve their potential in class, but also dedicating their time to put on additional revision classes both at lunchtime and after school.

Students should be rightly proud of these results, and I wish them every success in their next steps, whether they are staying on to the school’s 6th Form, going to another 6th form, going to college, starting apprenticeships or going into the world of work.
