Welcome to the Sixth Form

Chatham House and Clarendon House are well-established, successful 11-18 grammar schools in Ramsgate which have been federated since January 2009. There are approximately 1,700 students on the combined roll and the federation partner schools have operated a joint mixed Sixth Form – the Chatham & Clarendon Sixth (CCVI) - since September 2010. The overwhelming majority of Chatham and Clarendon Year 11 students stay on into the Sixth Form and it is also a popular choice for Year 11 students across Thanet/East Kent – roughly a third of CCVI students join us from other local secondary schools.

The Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School Federation offers a unique learning environment, with a positive ethos. It is based within distinctive, imposing buildings with a proud history of educational excellence, yet it combines both traditional values and  modernity. Visitors to the schools, and those who know them well, are invariably complimentary about the special and friendly  atmosphere here. This prospectus and our website can only offer a glimpse of what our Sixth Form is all about – we are always  happy to show visitors around the school, and answer any questions.

• You are not required to provide a personal statement-simply enter a full-stop in this section.
• You do not need to provide details of your academic qualifications (we know these already!)
• If you have lost or forgotten your unlock code, Mr Fenner has duplicate copies.
