Year 11 Revision Classes

Year 11 Revision Sessions for Exam Leave

The following subjects are running revision lessons at the times stated.  However, students are more than welcome to come in whenever they wish if they need a place to revise.  Mrs Bowrage on reception will have a list of free rooms that they can use.

Business Studies

Tuesday and Friday morning (P1&2) up until the date of the exam (24th May). Room BB

Computing

Fridays P1-4 until the exam.  Half Term - Wednesday all morning
 

Drama

Tuesday 14th May period 1 in C7 (GAM).  Friday 17th May period 1 C7 (VJM).

English

English staff are available during normal yr11 English lessons.  It is helpful if students email staff to let them know what area they are finding challenging in their own revision and when they would like to come in. This ensures that staff are available and can plan according to students' needs.  English rooms.

Product Design revision sessions are Tuesdays P1&2 with Mr Taylor and Fridays P1&2 with Mr Brewin, weekly until the examination on Friday 14th June.

Teacher will be available in room to support study, provide a space/suitable revision environment and work with students on specific difficulties or areas of concern.  Any Year 11 geographers can go to any of the sessions. They are not limited to the ones provided by their class teacher.    *This is a change of time to the version that was sent home

Half term:  Wednesday (this is a change from the copy emailed home) Unit 1 revision (all morning) EK.  In FF5
Friday Unit 3 revision, 9:00 – 11:00am CMF.  All in L2/L3
 

Maths

Mondays P1, Wednesdays P1 & 2 and Thursdays P1 until the examination. Students are not restricted to revise any particular topic in these sessions.  Clarendon Maths rooms

Music

Tuesday 14th May at 2pm.  Music Room

History

JHB – Tuesdays  9 am-10am

KJG – Fridays  9am-10am

DJP – Thursdays  1:40pm-2:40pm

All History students are welcome to any of the sessions (no need to stick to their usual teacher). The students will need to meet outside normal teaching room B7 (and then we will go to free teaching room from there)

During the half-term -  Tuesday 28th May in room B7,  9am-10am (Paper 1 revision) and 10-11am (paper 2 revision 'British Depth Study and source skills')

RS

All RS lessons running as normal until the exam.  Normal rooms

Spanish / German

Can attend at any time when students normally would have had a lesson.  Normal rooms

Some revision sessions clash with examinations, unfortunately this is unavoidable.  Speak to the teacher concerned to get a copy of any materials if you cannot attend the session.

During exam time some teaching rooms are used for examinations.  If you turn up for a revision session and your room is in use for an exam, then report to reception
