Dr. A. Sutton-Jones, the head of department, joined the school in 2013 after having most recently worked in further and higher education. He has a broad range of interests in the subject but the philosophy of language and the intersections between religion, literature and culture are particular specialisms. He also teaches English at the school.

Mr. C. Lowis is Senior Tutor to the sixth form and is a former Head of Religious Studies with twenty year's teaching of the subject in France and the UK. He is particularly interested in the Philosophy of Morality and the historical developments of religious thoughts in different cultures.

Mr J. Truman joined the school after working for the Philosophy Foundation. As well as teaching in schools in the UK, he also taught for a time in Singapore.

Mr A. Mayo is a Geographer and ICT specialist but has several years’ experience delivering Religious Studies at Key Stage 3.

Mrs C. Norman teaches Religious Studies at Key Stage 3 and 4 as well as teaching Sociology and Health and Social Care at the school. She has a particular interest in Hinduism.
